Hickory Wood Flooring

Hickory is the hardest, heaviest and strongest commonly used wood in America due to its tightly packed fibers, making it the perfect choice for high traffic areas. In the early days, pioneers would trust their covered wagons to be fitted with wagon wheels made only from hickory wood.

Hickory has good color variation going from white to tan, to a reddish-brown with inconspicuous fine brown lines and ambers over time.
