Chichipati Staircase

This lovely home with the Chichipate floor that we installed, was featured in Better Homes and Gardens magazine. Also known as Southern Chestnut due to its warm tones, this wood is relatively uniform in color. When we first installed it, it was a light brown with golden highlights, but deepened over time. Tough and heavy, Chichipate hardwood flooring holds up well to heavy traffic. The sunlight brings out the variations of grain and color in this 3" solid plank. We installed this stairway to complement the Chichipate wood floors throughout the home.
